Easy Guide to Repair/ Change IMEI Of Your MTK / Android Smartphone and Devices (Without PC)

Repair or Changing the IMEI of your MTK / Android is now possible, this includes for MTK 6577 / 6575 , MediaTek MTK6592 / MTK6753 android devices, e.g:- Tecno, Gionee, Infinix, and few others, and this post will show you how to do it using Mobile Uncle Tools.

NOTE:
1. This tweak was initiated for the main purpose of educating our readers, we will Not be held responsible if this info is used for any illegal activity.
2. We reserve the right that if you get your device bricked during the process stated below, We won't be held responsible for any Damages.

Meanwhile this post should be useful if your MTK phone is having problem registering your SIM to your network. Probably due to change of location.
That's by the way, but we assure damaging your device during procedure is nothing to worry about, you'll get it successfully done within seconds if you follow the Steps below carefully:

REQUIREMENTS For changing/Fixing the IMEI number on your MTK android :

1.  A Rooted Android *although Not compulsory coz it works without rooting most MTK devices* (latest MediaTek MT6592 / MTK6753, and MTK 6577 / 6575)

2.  A valid IMEI number

3.  The  MobileUncle MTK Tools from PlayStore



N.B
Note that when you use IMEI number of your old unused mobile phone, be sure to never insert a SIM of same network again.
i.e >> If you use a Glo sim on a Blackberry (or any other phone), after you copied and use the Blackerry's IMEI into your Android, your Glo will work fine on your Android. But be sure not to insert that same Glo SIM into the Blackberry again, If you do and switch it on, the sim will not register to the network.



After getting the above ready, follow the Procedures below:

1. Dial *#06#, write down your Default IMEI, or Simply Back it up on ur SDcard >> See this Post on How to Backup IMEI on Android.

2. Run the MobileUncle tools App


3. Go to >> Engineer Mode >> Engineer Mode (MTK)



4. Scroll down to CDS Information

5. CLICK >> Radio Information

You'll see something like:
Phone1 -
Phone2 - 

In that select Phone2, because in most of these Chinese cloned phone, the 1st Sim which is a 3G will work perfectly. Problem only happens when we insert the second sim. Such cases are experienced if after you check, you can see the IMEI of 1st sim starting with 35xxxxx and the 2nd will start with 88xxxxxxxx. That is why the second sim is not able to register to the network, because its not in international formatted IMEI. So usually we need to change the IMEI of Phone 2.

When you select any of  Phone1 or Phone2 - you'll find AT+ __________
Inside there input your new IMEI number,
click >> SEND AT COMMAND
That's all!

To re-insert the IMEI,
>> select - Restore IMEI from SDCARD(MTK) or SDCARD2(MTK), depending on which one you used to back up your IMEI.
Your Previous IMEI will be restored, now re-boot the device to make it active. That's all

Best Way To Change and use Proxy Servers/LocalHost- 127.0.0.1 for browsing On Google Chrome

The Two Best methods are:

1. via SwitchySharp extension

Switchysharp extension for Chrome is very simple to use, helps you manage and change Proxy and ports. My screenshot shows us this, and it's very easy to understand.

2. via Running the Command Line

 This method proves the best and fastest way to browsing on Chrome with LocalHost address 127.0.0.1
Simply Go to your Windows Menu icon, search "Run"
or simply Press your Windows button+R
then copy and paste the command line here >>
chrome.exe --proxy-server=127.0.0.1:8080
Hit enter

Your Chrome open as normal, but will automatically surf the web via the LocalHost or Proxy address and Port your applied on that Command line.

If printers were cars, many people would be able to afford an entire fleet of them but not have the money to fuel them up. Printer ink just might be one of the most expensive liquids you buy, according to Consumer Reports. A gallon of the black gold costs roughly $9,600, or enough gas for the next 60,000 miles. Even the cheapest ink costs $13 an ounce, more than you’d pay for decent champagne.

The sticker price of an inkjet or laser printer for the home office, on the other hand, seems disproportionately lower. CNET has reviewed several “excellent” inkjet and laser printers in the $150 to $400 range. So why is there such a wide discrepancy between printer cost and printer ink cost?

If you take the word of Thom Brown, marketing manager at HP, the reason printer ink is so expensive is similar to the reason pharmaceutical companies charge so much for drugs: you pay for the research behind the substance, not the substance itself. In 2010, HP was spending more than $1 billion a year on ink research, says Brown. Better research leads to more accurate, higher-quality printed documents. This would seem to explain why you can always find cut-rate generic brand cartridges that probably won’t match the printing quality of name brand ink cartridges.

Further, printer and ink cartridge manufacturers hold themselves to criteria set forth by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). I capture that part very well.

With Galaxy Note 3 Neo:

Although I have No personal experiences with this device yet, (I will surely get my hands-on soon), The Galaxy Note 3 Neo is an excellent Option that's cheaper if you've always wanted a Galaxy Note 3,

Neo is ALMOST SAME, yet lower type of Note 3.
Unless you pay attention to detail, you won't notice any difference in the size and weight between a Galaxy Note 3 and a Neo.

CONCLUSION

We have seen the differences up there, the processor in our New Galaxy S5 is higher, enabling it to be faster at multitasking than Note 3 Neo.

Talk-back Comments from Note 3 experience-users still say the new Galaxy S5 still doesn't beat their Note 3 devices, despite the water-proof and higher camera pixels features, (most still believe Note 3will run faster than Galaxy S5, since Note 3 has 3GB RAM, and new S5 came with only 2GB RAM).
